Blueberry Buckle

Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease and lightly flour a 9-inch square baking pan.

Cream together until smooth:

¾ cup white sugar
¼ cup softened butter
1 large egg

Stir in:

½ cup milk

Sift together and stir in:

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Stir in:

2 cups blueberries

Spread the batter evenly in the pan.

Mix together and sprinkle on top:

½ cup sugar
1/3  cup flour
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup softened butter

Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cut into 3-inch squares.
